Asian Games triathlon -Gharat, came a cropper and did not even , Lone Indian in Asian Games ,, 2010

The lone Indian in fray in the Asian Games' men's individual triathlon event, Gurudatta Devidas Gharat, came a cropper and did not even finish the competition in Guangzhou on Sunday.
Gharat clocked 23:05 in the 1.5 km swim in Centre Lake at the University Town complex about 10km from Guangzhou. His timing in the seven-lap, 40km cycle race on a flat course was 1:33:14 but he failed to complete the 10-kilometer run in the triathlon to finish second from bottom in the overall stadings.
Yuichi Hosoda and Ryosuke Yamamoto of Japan notched up the gold and silver respectively in the event.
Hosoda finished in one hour, 52 minutes, 15 seconds and Yamamoto 25 seconds behind his compatriot.
Defending champion Dmitry Gaag of Kazakhstan settled for the bronze with a timing of 1:53.08.
