Report by Orissa Diary correspondent; Bhubaneswar: The Bihari Community womens have celebrated Chhath Puja in the Kuakhai river. About 15,000 women of Bihari Community worshiped the Sun after taking bath in the river. BMC Mayer Ananta Narayan Jena joined as Chief Guest.
The Mayer expressed that from the next year the river bank will be cleaned and decorated and devotional song (Bhajan Samabesh ) will be arranged for the Chhath Puja. Commissionarate Police has deployed Police Force for maintaining law and order.
